The name-your-own-price pre-order promotion is now closed. Thanks to everyone who participated – average price turned out to be a whopping $29.13, thanks largely (but not entirely) to several incredibly generous folks who paid over $100.
Lowest donation was $5.00, highest was $500. We decided not to count the lowest and highest donations when calculating the average price for liner-note-inclusion purposes, which brought it down to a still-impressive $23.56.
Yet another press release from the label about the campaign with even more details after the jump.

A long Wonderlick interview just went live on a site called KittySneezes. We conducted it over email with the very gracious Reverend Syung Myung Me. We’ve put a link on the Press page, or you can go straight to it by clicking here.

Our genius designer, Jeff Castellana, has just finished the cover for the album. Boy, do we love this:

We were getting some complaints over on Facebook about some of the rough mixes that didn’t make the album cut. So we asked for more input, and the consensus seemed to be that two tracks in particular belonged on the record: “Everybody Loves Jenny (Except Jenny)” and “The CEO Considers His Holdings.”
We didn’t need much convincing. So now the album has 16 tracks, which is kinda long, but hey, it’s a weighty concept, right?
Full sequence after the jump.

Well, it’s been years in the making, but Wonderlick is pleased to announce we’ll finally be releasing Topless at the Arco Arena this summer, through Rock Ridge Music. The tracks are being mixed as I type, artwork is being designed, and Jay and I are debating track selection and sequencing. We’re aiming for a 7/7 release date.
Between now and mid-April, we’ll be letting anyone who pre-orders the album name his or her own price. This is a thank-you to the folks who’ve been supporting this project since it began, and who probably already have all the rough mixes already. It’s also a way to have your patronage immortalized, since we’re going to list anyone who winds up paying more than whatever the average price turns out to be in the liner notes.
